Three of the nine — Stun, Burn and Bleed — are called the same thing everywhere.

Physical and elemental

The official split is four physical states and five elemental ones.

Physical

  • Airborne

Launches the target into the air, where it cannot act and can be juggled.

  • Break

Strips the target's Super Armor so follow-up hits are no longer resisted.

  • Down

Breaks the target's stance and forces it prone on the ground.

  • Stun

Interrupts the target's attack and locks it in place.

Elemental

  • Bleed

Stacking physical damage over time applied by fast slashing hits.

  • Burn

    Fire-aligned damage over time.

  • Chill

Ice-aligned status that slows and eventually locks the target.

  • Poison

Damage over time that ignores part of the target's defenses.

  • Shock

Lightning-aligned status that lowers resistance and chains between targets.

Confirmed appliers

6 of the 9 ailments have at least one hero confirmed to apply them. The rest are named in official material but not yet tied to a hero.
